Is this it? Are we finally nearing the conclusion to this roller coaster of an arc? I-I think so…
…Unless Horikoshi turns back the clock in order to show us the ENTIRE Re-Destro/Geten VS Gunga Villa Heroes fight. Nah! Maybe we’ll get a snippet or catch the end of it, but no way is Hori ending on that battle after everything that’s happened with Team Deku. That’d be like ending an awesome rock music festival with Justin Bieber. Sure, he’s a big name, but who wants to see that after watching U2, AC/DC, and Foo Fighters play? BTW, I humbly apologize to every Re-Destro and Geten fan for comparing them to Beiber. I hope someday you will forgive me.
Deku has Spidey-Sense Danger Sense. Yep, that happened. I don’t know how I feel about that. I’m not saying it’s overpowered or dumb, just…really unexpected. And, yes, I know Horikoshi is a Spider-Man fan. I just didn’t think he’d give Deku that power. Especially, since he already gave Spider-Deku webbing in the form of Blackwhip. Well, okay… Guess we won’t have to worry about Toga fooling him again.
Alright, so that’s 3 quirks Deku’s got (The Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Users), not counting One For All. 3 more to go (The Second, Third, and Sixth Users). Hm… Running up walls. I’m calling it now, he’s getting a quirk that’ll give him that ability.
Double Hm… Oji Harima. If he’s really the 2nd or 3rd User (my theory), wouldn’t that give Deku the power to marble people? Does that fit with Deku’s fighting style? Well, he could capture people pretty easily. Perhaps too easily… Well, there’s the chance Harima and Mr. Compress’ quirks aren’t exactly alike. Several generations are split between them, after all. Okay! I’m sticking with the Harima is an OFA User Theory, but he doesn’t have the exact same quirk as Mr. Compress.
Since we’re talking about Mr. Compress, Caleb Cook tweeted Horikoshi forgot to include the (Formally) Masked Masochist shoving Skeptic’s marble in Spinner’s scarf along with Dabi’s. That means Shiggy For One, Spinner, Dabi, and Skeptic all got away. No Paranormal Liberation Commander Replacement Arc, after all. I’m mostly glad though. It would’ve been an unexpected twist but the League are set as the final villains. They (mostly) shouldn’t be captured until they’ve had their final battle.

Which brings us back to the injured Mr. Compress. Like I said once before, he’s not dying. He can still marble himself if that pauses the damage to his body to give time for him to be taken to a (Nomu-free) hospital. And, guess what, y’all? With Mr. Compress is most likely getting tossed in Tartarus after treatment, we’ll have an excuse to have a Tartarus Breakout Arc! Yay!
Oh, and Gigantomachia’s probably getting thrown in there too. No way is he permanently down for the count. If my prediction is correct, Class A (with help from others) will get another crack at the #1 Shiggy Fanboy and come out on top. Better start making those fighter jets now, Momo.
All For One’s in control of Shiggy’s body. It looks like it’s gonna be like that for awhile, but I may be wrong. Probably at least until Shiggy’s body heals. Maybe for another arc after that. But, don’t worry, kiddies. Shigaraki’s the final villain. He’ll oust that meanie All For One and get his body back eventually.
This was a good chapter. That should wrap up the Team Deku part of this arc. Now, it’s time for Hori to answer the important questions. Did Re-Destro, Geten, Trumpet, and Giran escape? Will Gran Torino die? Is Midnight dead? Will Endeavor have enough time to empty out his office before his hero license is revoked? All that and more will be answered next year on My Hero Academia. …Wait? NEXT YEAR?! That’s almost two weeks away! And, I only have a ton of unread books and unwatched TV shows to keep me occupied. Not to mention plenty of unhealthy snacks and drinks to enjoy. Oh, Horikoshi, why must you hurt me so?! WAHHHHH!

I don’t think we’ll see a time rewind at this point. But I DO think that we’ll see flashbacks to that battle. As for Midnight- I THINK she might be dead. No solid evidence, and in fiction- no body means they’re not really dead. But if Horikoshi wanted to keep the drama up in this arc, then killing of a few characters here and there is would do just that. Plus- New Nomu material. Oh, wait; isn’t Ujiko on his way to prison?
I don’t think All For One’s in control completely. But every time he takes over; it’ll get longer each time until the final time- where Izuku and Tomura have to banish the Dark Lord altogether. I think that what Tomura will do with AFO’s consciousness once he wins will be very interesting.
I think this arc is done. Which means it’s time for Endeavor and Hawks to face the music!

Midnight seems too important of a character to be killed off-panel.
Yeah, I can see Deku helping to fight off AFO in the mindscape only for Shiggy to turn on him after regaining control.
