You heard me. Just because Orochi is basically a mythical Hydra able to grow multiple heads when cut off doesn’t mean he’s still alive. And, it’s not like Kaido won’t chop him into tiny pieces just in case, right? RIGHT?! …*sigh* Orochi’s not dead, is he?

So, Kaido’s in it to win it. With the Seven Warlords disbanded and replaced with something stronger (Tik Tok dancers?), Kaido decides he’s not gonna wait around for the popo to take him out. Oh, no! Instead, he and Big Mom are teaming up to find the ancient weapons and One Piece. Banking on with them and their combined might, even the Navy and World Government can’t stand in their way. See, Orochi? It wasn’t personal. Kaido just wanted to destroy your country and turn it into a permanent Spring Break with weapons. I’m sure you understand.

Yep. Kaido wants to turn every Wano citizen into slave labor to build weapons and leather jackets for the upcoming war against peace and polyester. The fiend! And, worse, he wants to make his son, Yamato, the new Shogun of New Onigashima because…um… Yeah, I got nothing. He should know his son hates him, but maybe it’s like giving you kid a car. They’ll be so happy they forget all about the past and make up. Aw, Kaido, you old softy!
It’s a good plan by Kaido and Big Mom. It could work if not for Orochi still being alive and the Strawhat Alliance ready to attack. Wait. Does that matter? Will getting his ass kicked mean Kaido gives up on his grandiose plan? Maybe. Oda has stated Luffy doesn’t kill his opponents but destroys their dreams instead, so take that as you will.
Yamato wants a ride off Onigashima. Does that mean he’s the next member of the Strawhat crew? It f*cking better not be! Last thing I want is an Od*n fanboy a part of the main cast. Don’t you f*cking dare, O*a! Oops! I mean, Oda.
Kikunojo’s fighting Kanjuro. Okay. Sure. Let’s have who may be the weakest of Kin’emon’s best buds fight him. Oh, look, Kiku’s crying and there’s blood on his sword. Please don’t tell me Izo blocked an attack from Kanjuro with his body. I don’t want him going out like that.

This was a good chapter. The readers now know Kaido’s big plan. That pretty much means it’s doomed to never happen. But, it not the success, it’s the how it fails is what’s interesting. We’re talking about Kaido’s entire force and Big Mom VS Team Luffy. The baddies still have the numbers and power to win. And, most importantly, the leather. Never forget about the leather.
