How many ways can I say it? How many ways can I say Oden is a total idiot?
There’s nothing noble about any of this. None! This is what a ten-year-old would think is cool. This is brain-dead drama at it’s finest. Logic punches holes through it like a wet straw through toilet paper (Don’t ask.). This whole damn tragedy of a backstory stands on Oden trusting the word of shitty people. Shitty people who don’t even hide that they’re shitty! I—I can NOT get over this mountain of stupidity.

Excuse me? So, let me get this straight. Orochi is basically saying what? He’ll drag out war so more people will die? Straight up attack the populace? Okay, I can see that happening IF YOU LET HIM! Hot damn on a cold plate, Oden. Use your brain! Your best option at ending this as soon as possible was walking out the palace and TELLING the people what was happening. They would’ve believed you! They all know Orochi’s a piece of garbage.
After that, you raise your army and kick the sociopathic Shogun and his shirtless BFF out of Wano forever. But, what about the barrier-barrier fruit? Oh, I don’t know, maybe take out all of Orochi and Kaido’s forces first, THEN Kaido, and THEN finally Orochi. The barrier-barrier user has to sleep eventually. Just wait him out.
And, as predicted, all Shinobu did was play Ms. Exposition. What a terrible character. Oda, did you draft this arc early in your career and didn’t bother to do any editing? This is sad, dude. You can do better than this.
This was a bad chapter. The raising climax of a flashback wrapped in stupidity where logic is eaten, only to be sharted out like diarrhea in a bathroom built on condescension (Don’t ask!). And, we already know Kaido and Orochi aren’t keeping this promise to free the Samurai Squad for long because Team Oden and his family were gonna be killed if not for Hiyori’s devil fruit.
Ugh! Toki. What a letdown she’s been. Went from an interesting introduction to background housewife in record time. Go sit in the corner, Oda! You need a time out.
