Seriously, I wanna know Aizawa’s classmates and teachers’ real names, hero names, and quirks ASAP!
Aizawa, Shirakumo, and Yamada hanging out. That’s pretty much the entire chapter. Okay, not exactly. The three U.A. students are 2nd Years so it’s important they find a hero agency to study under and get experience. But, just randomly picking a Hero to learn from won’t necessarily cut it. What the chapter emphasized was the three types of Heroes most fall into: Battle, Rescue, and Entertainer. A student has to put serious thought into which type of Hero they want to become and pick a hero agency related to that choice. You know, like when Froppy picked a water hero and Uraraka picked a battle hero to gain fighting experience. Speaking of the main series, we haven’t seen Class 1-A do entertainer lessons yet. Could that be the next arc? Hm… Huh? Oops! I’m supposed to be talking about My Hero Vigilantes. Sorry.
Yamada does eventually get a battle Hero to work-study under, leaving Aizawa and Shirakumo the only ones left in their class who haven’t decided. But, here comes Kayama AKA Midnight saving day! In addition to confirming she went to U.A. and is one grade higher, she takes the kitten off the boys’ hands and lets them know they can work-study under her boss. Whoever that is.
It’s interesting seeing Aizawa struggle with finding the best Hero path for himself given his personality and Erasure quirk. It seems natural for him to go with a battle agency since we know how good he is in a fight in the future. Watching him slowly figure it out is a treat to watch and reminds people sometimes you’ll stumble looking for your purpose in life but don’t give up. It’s out there, you just need to keep searching…or have a friend solve your problem for you. Either way works fine.
What a nice chapter! It’s fun seeing how natural Aizawa, Yamada, and Shirakumo are together and watching them find their career path. So, who are the teachers they’re working under? Well, Yamada’s got a battle Hero so…Gran Torino? Hey, it’s all I got. Hm, maybe Yoroi Musha? He’s another older Hero we know of. As for Aizawa and Shirakumo, there’s Yoroi Musha, Recover Girl and one other someone suggested on Reddit, O’Clock. Wow! O’Clock being Aizawa and Shirakumo’s work-study hero would be amazing. I really hope that’s what happens next chapter. Anyone other than him or Luke Cage will be a total disappointment.
