Hm? Could it be…
Anyway, about the chapter, we learn Hanabata AKA Trumpet, indeed has a quirk that power’s up his allies through the sound of his voice. The louder it is, the more powerful they become. But, from what Trumpet implied in the chapter, this power-up takes a toll on those affected. Which explains why he didn’t bust out the megaphone mask in the beginning.
Spinner! He has an animal quirk called Gecko, which allows him to cling to walls. Oh, sweet, Horikoshi. You can’t fool me. If wall-crawling was all Spinner could do, it wouldn’t be called Gecko. Like, Froppy’s Frog quirk, I believe Spinner will unlock more lizard abilities in the future. All he has to do is train his quirk. Wouldn’t be surprised if he discovers a new ability in this very arc! Oh, yeah, it’s definitely coming.

This chapter also puts to rest any doubts concerning Spinner’s loyal to the League. Spinner calls himself a bandwagoner and he’s right. He gravitated toward Stain and his unyielding resolve, and he’s doing the same for Shigaraki. Both men know what they what and aren’t backing down from their ideals, and Spinner seems to have a desire to follow strong social outcast who live by those ideals. It’s kinda sad, really. Spinner doesn’t see himself as a leader or a person who can even think for himself. He’s stuck leeching off the dreams of others instead of shooting for his own. Everyone in the League of Villains has experienced tragedy but unlike them, Spinner continues to be tragedic by simply staying with them.
Re-Destro literally hulked out (The angrier more stressed he gets the stronger he becomes.) and removed a couple fingers from Shigaraki’s left hand. Ouch! Does that mean Shiggy can’t use his power in that hand anymore? Yes, but I think he’ll be fine. Doctor Uijiko, remember? If he has a teleportation nomu, I’m sure the guy’s got a nomu just for regeneration on hand. Hand, get it? You didn’t? Well, somebody needs to take more B vitamins.

And, yes, dear readers, Skeptic is alive and well and determined to capture Twice if it’s the last thing he does. And he just might with OG Twice’s arms broken and the few Twice clones there outnumbered. Too bad there isn’t an unaccounted for League member with the ability to turn people and objects into marbles around to protect him and Toga. Oh, well, I guess they’re doomed. That was sarcasm, by the way? You didn’t get that either? Come on!
Great chapter, the plot is moving along nicely and we’re beginning the final fights. How’s Gigantomachia arrival going to play into things? Well, judging by that last page he’ll be too busy fighting Slidin’ Go to do anything— I’m kidding, okay! Yeesh! Giganto is stomping him into paste, no doubt. Seriously, go eat some fish or something.
