It’s our house now! It’s our house—erm—chapter now. And, what a chapter it was.

Kurogiri got captured and everything went to shit. Our favorite teleporter isn’t just a convenient mode of transportation, he’s one of All For One’s inner circle meaning he knows what the Big Boss knows, including names of allies and where to find them. Guess Kurogiri also had the League’s business credit card on him when he got caught because the rest of the League of Villains is strapped for cash. I love how they’re keeping a low profile by attacking another villain group. Smart.
We get some needed character revelation from Spinner, our POV this chapter. Turns out he wants to change the world because he’s sick of racist assholes. You and me both, buddy. Anyway, this is a huge revelation because all this could be a setup for Spinner’s loyalty to be tested. Could Spinner decide he’s better off with the Liberation Army? It’s possible, and I can see Destro Jr. trying to recruit him but in the end, I think he’s sticking with the League. If not because he probably considers his current comrades as friends, then because Shigaraki will convince him to stay. After all, there’s no reason Shiggy can’t take up the anti-hate cause. It doesn’t contradict his desire to destroy the current system and it’ll give his mission more validation. A win-win for everyone.

This chapter answers a couple questions I’ve had for a while, the first being where’s all the new recruits. Well, everyone’s too busy keeping the League afloat to search, everyone except Dabi that is. And, the guy has a killer interview process. So much so no one’s passed it. With this and his contact with Hawks, I like to think Dabi is the League’s official Human Resources Manager. You best believe anyone with a bad evaluation is literally getting a fire lit under their ass.
We also go confirmation All For One’s personal doctor is the one who creates and maintains the Nomu. This means Doctor Nomu will indeed join up with the current League since we saw High End (a new and improved Nomu) taking on Endeavor a bunch of chapters ago. This also means the bad doctor has Overhaul’s quirk erasure data. No telling what damage he can do with that knowledge. Quirk erasing Nomu incoming? Whatever the doc learns can’t be good for anyone other than the League. Also, a side note, this pretty much confirms Doctor Nomu is in charge of the Villian Factory organization in My Hero Vigilantes. And, if that’s true then Team Nomu wins. That can’t be good for the vigilantes or the heroes fighting them.

At the end of the chapter, the League is introduced to Gigantomachia. He tests the League’s fighting power and is completely disappointed in how weak they are. The guy also busted out from underground so, yeah there’s that. Super strength, size alternating, and now, the ability to travel through the earth. Gee, I wonder if All For One gave him an extra quirk or two? No wonder he’s mowing down everyone in his way so far.
Great chapter. The League really are parallel to Class A. They have their highs and lows and must level up just like the good guys. Oh, baby, the League is gonna be on a whole new level by the time this arc is over and I can’t wait.
