The title’s Go! Slidin’ Go!. I wanted to see The Crawler in the main series, damn it!
Anyone else thinks Slidin’ Go is secretly part of the Liberation Army? Just me? Okay.
Todoroki and Bakugo manhandle the thieves, who wisely tried escaping instead of fighting U.A. students I’m sure they recognized them from the U.A. Festival. They fail, but we see their leader use very powerful black market gauntlets that conveniently self destruct when in danger of being confiscated. Destro Jr’s been busy gathering battle data. No doubt he’s planning on equipping the LA with gear as well as getting data on how heroes combat their wearers. Smart.
Speaking of smart, Todoroki and Bakugo’s first official run as licensed heroes go off without a hitch. They keep the civilians safe, take out all the baddies, and return the property. Perfect score, not that anyone’s surprised. Well, maybe a little for Bakugo, but the kid’s a pro—even if he’s still an ass.
Giran! Oh, wow, you’re not looking so good, pal. Destro Jr. wants info on the League of Villians but Giran’s not having it. At least, for now. Who knows what Destro’s got in store. More violence. Maybe a member of his team has just the right quirk to deal with him. But, I gotta say, I’m worried about Giran. He’s not a big enough character to have plot armor. Who’s to say his death is what motivates the League to seek and destroy the Liberation Army just like the army is trying to do to them. Also, who’s building Giran’s black market gear? Could a new super scientist baddie introduction be on the horizon? Hope so.
Lastly, we see the League of Villians from over a month ago facing off against Gigantomachia. Looks like ole Giganto thinks the League isn’t worth their weight. So, we got two of All For One’s followers, Shigaraki and Giganto facing off. Will they work together eventually? Probably yeah. In fact, since this takes place in the past, the two are probably doing just that right now. For what? I can’t wait to see. Maybe we’re getting our Tartarus prison break after all, Y’all!
