I wanna talk about Deku’s quirk, so let’s get everything else out the way.

No. Uraraka and Mina won’t get standout moments this fight, and that sucks.
Yes. Monoma is a dick.
No. I don’t know if Shimura became a hero before or after she received OFA, but I’d like to know.
Yes. I completely understand Shoda’s Twin Impact quirk.
No. I wasn’t being serious. I’m confused as all hell about it. Does he punch something then can later Jedi force punch it again? I don’t get it.
Yes. I think Monoma has Shinsou’s quirk.
No. I don’t think Class A is blitzing Team Monoma like Bakugo’s group did.
Yes. Everyone has no excuse not reading the official English translation because its free now. But, I still get chapter pics from scanlations because I don’t know how to save Viz pics on my computer.
Now that that’s out the way, let’s talk about One for All!

Deku getting a generic extra-strength power-up makes no sense to me. One For All’s nature is storing up power, giving Deku a special move that grants him more power is stupid. More has to be going on here. Here’s what I think.
At its core One For All stockpiles. That’s why each user gets progressively more powerful. Pretty cut and dry, right? But, what if the quirk did more than store physical strength? Well, yeah, it does. I mean, look, Deku can communicate with The First user. So, the quirk has the power to stockpile more than just strength. Confirmed.
But, what does that mean? In my opinion, that means Deku will learn/try to master the previous users’ signature moves. Think about it. If OFA is a stockpiling quirk then the first several users couldn’t Superman their way out of a fight. They’d have to figure out more unique ways using what power they had, with or without their natural born quirks.

Now, what if The Second User used OFA to heighten his senses (sorta like Daredevil), or what if The Third concentrated his strength into his fractured leg to heal it faster (sorta like Wolverine)? What I’m saying is strength is more than punching. A clever person can use this power boosting quirk in so many different ways. Deku’s proved that himself! The kid has copied All Might, Bakugo, and Iida’s techniques. What’s stopping him for copying the previous OFA users now that he can communicate with them?
Strength in numbers. Working together. Combining their power. That’s what One for All is about and that’s where I think Hirokoshi is going with this. Deku generates green lightning. What if that black lightning represents another user trying to pass on their technique? Using different colored lightning to represent a “mode” would be an awesome touch. But, this is all my opinion.
Sure, its possible Deku is getting the previous users’ quirks but I think that’s a bit too overpowered. Now, him getting a weak version of their power and having to use OFA to compensate works too. Whatever Horikoshi does, it has to be more than a simple power boost.
Now, if Horikoshi can give Uraraka a big moment in the fight I’d be happy.
